Tilgate Bakery is a family-owned and run bakery and catering business based in Crawley. We're looking for a Catering Assistant to join our welcoming team and help us continue delivering great food and excellent customer service.

 

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you'll play an important part in our day-to-day operation, helping to prepare and present food for customer events and special occasions.

 

No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a busy team and takes pride in providing great service.

 

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and presenting food and drinks

• Providing friendly customer service

• Assisting with catering preparation

• Keeping work areas clean and hygienic

• Helping with washing up and general kitchen duties

• Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

• Reliable and punctual

• A good team player

• Happy working in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to learn with a positive attitude

• Previous catering or customer service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
